We had such a great morning with Dave from Skip2BFit! We all tried hard to beat our first score and now we know that ‘practise makes us better!’ Miss Irvine joined in our skipping and beat her last score too!

During today’s PE lesson we developed our skipping skills. We worked in 2 teams and took turns. We encouraged and supported the other team by giving advice about how we could improve and beat our skipping score.

We have been using our muscles to balance to make different letter shapes.

We have been focusing on music this week during our new Big Idea sessions. We have learnt about making music by using different sounds and beats with our mouths. We performed our own version of ‘Roar’ using different sounds and layering them up like a real acapella group. We have also created our own rhythm sticks to tap beats like the ones we used during the launch.

Mrs Watkinson came in this week and did a music session with us. We tapped out rhythms and beats to make musical patterns.
