This week in Learning Mission Year Two looked at whether food is shared evenly around the world. We spent time creating our favourite plates of food and then drew names out of a pot to see who was lucky enough to receive their lovely meals.
This week in science Year Two went to the pond area and searched for different wildlife. We were focusing on habitats and micro habitats.
Year 1 have been learning about what we can do to help others around the world and we decided to create our own posters to put up around school informing everyone of the importance of recycling, reusing and reducing waste to help improve our world! We created our posters on a word document by copying and pasting inspirational photos, saving our work and printing it off.
Year 1 have been busy experimenting with colour this week! We have been learning about primary and secondary colours and investigating what happens when they are mixed together.
Year 1 have been busy collecting lots of adjectives to describe Aretha Franklin. We are going to use these adjectives to draft our first paragraph of our fact files!
Year 1 have been busy showing Miss Stead all their knowledge about 2D and 3D shapes! We have been drawing lots of 2D shapes and labeling them with the correct number of sides and corners.
Today Year 1 spent their Reading lesson on our school library bus: Winston. We shared some of our favourite stories with each other.
